ANAB Accreditation for
e-Stewards
The e-Stewards standard is for use by organizations that have
electronics recycling, processing, asset management, and
refurbishment operations. The standard was developed by the
environmental community in conjunction with industry experts in
recycling and refurbishment, data security, worker health and
safety, and auditing.
The e-Stewards program is a base standard program in ANAB's fee schedule.

Application
You can view the e-Stewards application in .pdf format to
understand specific requirements but the application process must

ANAB Accreditation for Responsible
Recycling (R2)
Responsible Recycling (R2) is a set of guidelines for use by
electronics recyclers to promote better environmental, health and
safety, and security practices when recycling end-of-life
electronics. The guidelines cover computers, peripherals, cell
phones, and televisions sent to recyclers for proper refurbishment
and recycling.
R2 is a base standard program in ANAB's fee schedule.

ANAB Accreditation for Recycling
Industry Operating Standard (RIOS)
The Recycling Industry Operating Standard (RIOS) is a
comprehensive integrated quality, environmental, health, and safety
system based on ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 and focusing on aspects
relevant to the scrap recycling industries. The six components of
RIOS cover general requirements, policy, planning, implementation,
checking and corrective action, and management.
The RIOS program is a base standard program in ANAB's fee schedule.
