Explains the differences between ANAB programs for ISO/IEC 17025 and ISO/IEC 17020 forensic accreditation and helps those interested in accreditation make informed decisions on which standard is appropriate. Also provides clarification on ANAB requirements for accreditation.

GD 3003, Guidance on Uncertainty and Traceability for Forensic Agencies

Designed for forensic agencies new to ISO/IEC 17025 and ISO/IEC 17020 accreditation, traceability, and measurement uncertainty (MU). ISO/IEC 17020 has requirements for traceability and uncertainty of measurements when relevant for inspection agencies.
