ANAB-SASO to Provide Training in Saudi Arabia

ANAB and SASO signed an agreement under which ANAB will provide training in Saudi Arabia and other countries in the region.

ANAB and Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO), have signed a technical cooperation arrangement under which ANAB will provide training courses at the SASO Training Center in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

In addition, ANAB will provide training and in other locations in the region, potentially including Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates.

SASO is a national standardization body with many responsibilities related to enhancing the technical structure of standardization and quality. Its technical functions include developing, adopting, and updating standards, as well as testing samples and different products in collaboration with concerned bodies. SASO also has legislative functions that involve the issuance of technical regulations and other technical legislation associated with its work field. In collaboration with concerned authorities, to SASO functions to control market and ensure that imported and locally manufactured goods conform to Saudi standard specifications and technical regulations. SASO disseminates and reinforces quality culture and encourages implementation of best practices in quality and organizational excellence.

The following ANAB training courses will be offered at the SASO Training Center in Riyadh in 2017.

Internal Auditing to ISO/IEC 17025 October 3-5

ISO/IEC 17025 Lead Assessor Training October 8-12
