What allows a certificate issued in one country to be recognized around the world? A QuEST Forum Academy webinar presented by ANAB’s Natalia Larrimer on August 9 will explain “IAF and Why it Matters.”

The work, principles, and system of the International Accreditation Forum (IAF) allows for certified products, processes, and services from region or country to be accepted in other regions and countries. IAF is a network of accreditation bodies, certification bodies, certified organizations, and other stakeholders with an interest in conformity assessment working together to ensure equivalent conformity assessment procedures are developed and implemented around the world.

This webinar will provide a detailed explanation of IAF and IAF’s impact on the operations of accrediting bodies, certification bodies, and certified organizations globally. The will also be an explanation of how and why the IAF MLA mark may or may not appear on certificates, products, and organizations promotional materials. At the conclusion of this webinar, participants will have an understanding of the complexity of IAF and when one can request a certificate with the MLA mark or a certificate issued by a CB recognized under the IAF framework.

Register now for the webinar, which starts at 11:00 am CST on August 9, 2017.
