Accredited entities can request permission to use the ILAC or IAF mark in combination with the ANAB accreditation symbol for applicable accreditation programs by completing the form below.

    Why use a combined mark?

As a signatory of both the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC) Mutual Recognition Arrangement (MRA) and the International Accreditation Forum (IAF) Multilateral Recognition Arrangement (MLA), ANAB is licensed to grant permission for the use of these marks by ANAB-accredited entities.

Use of the combined marks offers the benefit of increased national and international acceptance through the ILAC and IAF recognition arrangements and may also provide benefits when used for promotional purposes.

Use of the ANAB accreditation symbol and the combined marks is governed by ANAB PR 1018, Policy on Use of ANAB Accreditation Symbols and Claims of Accreditation Status, ILAC and IAF principles for use of the marks, and the conditions of use outlined as part of the request below.
